ROCHESTER - Police are on the lookout today for a man who robbed the Milton Road Family Dollar at knifepoint on Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when the man walked into the 87 Milton Road store, showed a knife to the clerk and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect then fled on foot east of the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers conducted an area search using the department's K-9 unit, but the scent went cold.
The suspect is described as being in his late 30s to late 40s, approximately 5'8"-5'11" tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt with the word California on it and a palm tree, white gloves, blue jeans and a dark colored mask.
