ROCHESTER - Juanita M. Goodwin, 81, died on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at the Dover Rehabilitation Center, following a period of failing health.

Born Jan. 15, 1943, in Bethel, Maine, she was the daughter of Donald and Ethel (Mason) Childs.

Juanita had worked in local shoe shops including Prosper Shevenell. She enjoyed being a member of the Rochester Area Senior Center, crafts, puzzles, reading, cooking and alterations. She also loved going to Lake Wentworth.

Members of her family include her children Glenn Goodwin and wife Debbie of Lebanon, Maine; and Scott Goodwin and wife Amy of Somersworth; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and her brother James Childs and wife Nancy of Rochester; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold Goodwin, and her sister Gloria McCulough.
