INVITATION TO BID

BACKHOE LOADER

The Town of Lebanon will receive sealed bids for a backhoe loader until:

Thursday, 4/3/14 at 5:00 pm

All bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and awarded by the Selectmen on Thursday, 4/3/14 at 5:15 pm at the Town Office.  All bidders will be notified by mail.

DROP OFF OR MAIL BIDS IN A SEALED ENVELOPE CLEARLY MARKED “BACKHOE LOADER BID” TO:

FAXED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Specifications are as follows:

 John Deere 310SK or equivalent with 4 wheel drive, 10’ hydraulic reversible plow and forks, service manual, standard options* plus Wainroy coupler, 24” bucket, 48” hydraulic tilt bucket, hydraulic thumb, extendable hoe, boom protection, license plate bracket

The bid should include any discounts, if they apply.

 *List of standard options can be obtained at the Town Office or call 207-457-6082 for fax.

 Any questions can be directed to the Road Commissioner, Larry Torno at 207-252-0105.

 The Board of Selectmen reserve the right to waive all information in bids, to accept any bid or any portion thereof, or to reject any or all bids.  In evaluating bids, price shall be a major factor but not the only consideration.
