WEST LEBANON - Tuckaway Tree Farm is hosting its inaugural Open House and Artisan Weekend on Oct. 12 and 13.
This two-day event will showcase a number of local artisans and a wide variety of artistic creations. All artisans represented are from Lebanon and surrounding areas and excited to display and promote their work as part of what Tuckaway Tree Farm owner Lynne Park hopes to make an annual event.
Examples of locally made products for sale will include wood turned bowls and writing instruments, block prints, pottery, water color paintings and pencil sketchings, knitted angora wool products, handmade mittens and hats, primitive art, log furniture and local jams and jellies. In addition, the Lebanon Ladies Circle will have specialty food items available for purchase and will be donating all proceeds to the Lebanon Scholarship fund.
Also co-participating in this weekend event are Prospect Hill Winery and Belgian Meadows Farm – two local businesses that offer excellent locally made wines and great family fun farm activities including pumpkins and hay rides.
Tuckaway Tree Farm is located at 301 Shapleigh Road at the corner of Dixon Road in Lebanon. Open House and Artisan Weekend will be a rain or shine event. Show hours are set both days at 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
