ROCHESTER − An East Rochester teenager who ran away from home 10 days ago has been reunited with his family, his father, said on Sunday.
"Cacidy is home!" Matt Mowry said early Sunday morning. "He is home safe and currently sleeping in his bed. We have a long road ahead, but we are on the first steps of that journey."
Rochester Police expressed their gratitude for the effort the community exhibited in their unwavering commitment to bring Cacidy home.
"Thank you for all the tips we received and for those that cooperated with the investigation, as well as all the other agencies, organizations and businesses that assisted Rochester Police, for your help in finding him and making sure he made it home safe," read a post on the department's Facebook page.

Mowry said Cacidy was found in Connecticut by a Good Samaritan who drove him to Rochester.

Cacidy, 15, first went missing from his East Rochester home late the evening of July 26.
