ROCHESTER - Hazel Foote, 89, of Oak Street died on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Dover Center after a period of failing health.

She was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Lawrence, Mass., a daughter of Frederick and Stella (Cress) Watmough. She has resided in Rochester since 1990 previously living in Strafford. Hazel worked as a housekeeper for UNH whom she has stayed in contact with for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Hazel loved her cats and feeding the birds.

The widow of Ronald W. Foote who died in 2002, she is survived by sons, Glenn (Jennie) Foote and Brian (Nola) Foote; daughters, Pamela (Tom) Marks and Michelle (Donald) Smith; grandchildren, Kelli Szrot, Jasmine Vassion, Dale Foote, Rhiannon Roper, Katherine Marks; great grandchildren, Alejandra and Christian (Meagan) Browne, Trent and Isabelle Roper; siblings, Harold Watmough, Grant Watmough, Grace Mary Stetson and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kim in 1984 brother, Warren Watmough, sisters, Lucy Crabtree, Marion Meservy, Fay Secotte and a dear friend Joanie Bisson.
