ROCHESTER - A Rochester man whose criminal past includes a long list of criminal threatening and assaults in New Hampshire and Virginia was arraigned Monday by video on three new counts of criminal threatening after police say he pointed a handgun at three people on a Rochester street on Saturday.

Robnik Perry-Levey, 21, of 27A River St., was charged with three counts of felony criminal threatening.

At his arraignment on Monday, prosecutors noted at least three simple assaults in Rochester from 2013, including two domestics, as well as another simple assault charge in Virginia in 2013.

Perry-Levey told the court he had been good for a year and a half and was trying to get his life back together.

District Court Judge Susan Ashley put Perry-Levey's bail at $10,000 cash bail but said it could be converted to personal recognizance with his acceptance by Strafford County Community Corrections. The court also noted that there were indications from the agency that Perry-Levy would be accepted.

Police say that about 1 p.m. on Saturday officers were in the area of 27 River St. when they received a report from three individuals that someone had just pointed a handgun at them and fled the area in a vehicle. Moments later, Rochester Police Officers located the suspect on Chestnut Street. The suspect was identified as Perry-Levey Officers were able to locate the handgun, and took Perry-Levey into custody, and he was taken to Strafford County Jail, where he will stay until bail is raised or he is accepted into the community bail program.

Judge Ashley set his probable cause hearing for later this month.
