FREMONT, N.H. - Gordon Wesley Casey Jr., 87, of Fremont, and formerly of Sandown and Rochester, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at his home in Fremont.
Born in Rochester, he attended Spaulding High School, and graduated with the Class of 1947. Gordon was employed as a Pipefitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, for over 20 years, after serving his country for four years in the U.S. Air Force as a Stock Record Clerk from 1947 to 1951.
Gordon Jr. was the son of Gordon W. Casey, and Catherine (Trafton) Casey, and is sadly missed, and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kim Naimo and husband David Liberatore of Andover, Mass., granddaughter, Jillian Naimo, of Somerville, Mass., and grandson, Kyle Boesch, of Andover, Mass., as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Viola (Cantin) Casey in 1998.
Gordon was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church, a member of the Elks Club, and American Legion in Rochester, and his many interests and hobbies included the saxophone, dancing, fishing, Bingo, playing cards, and being an avid sports fan.
