MANCHESTER - WMUR News 9 and The New Hampshire Institute of Politics will host a weeklong series of debates starting tonight that will be held at Saint Anselm College.
The 2022 Granite State Debates will be televised live through Friday from 8-9 p.m.. Viewers will have the opportunity to hear from Republicans running in both of New Hampshire's Congressional districts, U.S. Senate and for Governor.
WMUR News 9 political director Adam Sexton will moderate the debates. The events will broadcast live on WMUR-TV and be streamed on WMUR.com and the WMUR app.
Debate Broadcast Schedule:
Tuesday 8 p.m.: 1st Congressional District candidates: Tim Baxter (R), Gail Huff Brown (R), Karoline Leavitt (R), Matt Mowers (R), and Russell Prescott (R)
Wednesday at 8: 2nd Congressional District candidates: Bob Burns (R), George Hansel (R), and Lily Tang Williams (R)
Thursday at 8: U.S. Senate candidates: Don Bolduc (R), Bruce Fenton (R), Vikram Mansharamani (R), Chuck Morse (R), and Kevin Smith (R)
Friday at 8: Gubernatorial candidates: Julian Acciard (R), Thad Riley (R), Chris Sununu (R), and Karen Testerman (R)
During the weeklong debates, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics auditorium will be converted into a live television studio, and dozens of Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassadors will support the production, assisting candidates and staff behind the scenes throughout debate week. Each night, up to 15 students will serve as candidate attendants, press assistants, ushers and runners.
