Ryan and I went out to eat at Panera in Dover earlier this week. When we first walked in there was an elderly woman in front of us ordering her food by herself. When she noticed Rylee in Ryan's arms, she began complimenting her about how beautiful and well behaved she was.
The woman went out to her car and came back in with a gift bag and tissue paper; inside was this handmade crocheted baby blanket. The woman said she wanted Rylee to have it.
She told us she knits baby hats and blankets because her husband passed away and she needed something to keep her busy. Ryan and I are amazed that the sweet woman would give this blanket away to people she had just met and only talked to for a moment. You can tell she put a lot of hard work and time into it, and every stitch made with love.
It's heart warming to see kindness like this in the world we live in today, and I can't wait to tell Rylee about it someday.
