Not all the school buses at the Granite State Fair this year are there to be crushed into rubble at the School Bus Derby.

Some are there to crush hunger.

Fairgoers can help alleviate hunger among the neediest in our community by stopping by to stuff a bus with canned goods or other non-perishable grocery items.

The bus will be parked near the midway, and every donation goes directly to supporting families in our community who rely on Gerry's Food Pantry for help. The hope is to stuff the bus until it's filled to the brim!

Some items that Gerry's Food Pantry lists as "greatest food needs" are:

100% juice
peanut butter
canned meat (tuna, ham, chicken, etc.)
packaged or canned soup
canned pasta
cereal & oatmeal
spaghetti sauce
Size 4/5/6 diapers & pullups
deodorant
shampoo
bar or liquid soap
toothpaste
Why It Matters:

Hunger is a challenge many people in our area face. Gerry's Food Pantry serves as a lifeline for those struggling to put meals on the table. By donating just a few items, you can help make sure no one goes hungry.

Organizers are asking everyone to come together at the Granite State Fair to enjoy the festivities while also supporting this important cause. Every can of food helps make a difference.
