LEBANON, Maine - George Arthur Manley Jr., 46, of Lebanon, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 27, 2024.
George was born on Nov. 23, 1977, to George Manley Sr. and Shirley Manley (Martineau). Growing up, George always had a passion for sports. He played baseball and football as well as bowling. As he got older, he developed a love for street hockey. He graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in 1996. He then met the love of his life, Nicole Manley (Dube), at 19 years old.
Together they started a family then got married on April 20, 2002. George built a career in the printing industry, being in it for the last 30 years. He was a very hardworking man who developed many great relationships throughout his career. George was a very devoted and loving husband and father. His wife and children were his whole world. He was a very involved father, never wanting to miss his children's activities or sporting events. Anyone who knew him knew he loved his Boston teams, especially the Bruins. We all joked that he was the cat whisperer because he loved his kitties as much as his children. He enjoyed anything to do with cars or music. He may have been a man of few words but anyone who knew him knew he was very opinionated and could debate with the best of them. George will be missed by so many but never forgotten.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Nicole Manley (Dube), his three children Caleb Dube (25), Hannah Manley (23), and Ian Manley (17). His father George Manley Sr., his mother Shirley Manley (Martineau), his brother Randy Woods and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Niece's and Nephews.
