UNION, N.H. - If you're a train buff, today's your day.
It's Wakefield Heritage Day at Union Heritage Park, where there will be displays of real trains, HO trains, a Garden Railroad and
more.
There will also be a presentation at 1 p.m. on the Mill tradition of Union and a tour at 2 p.m. of the Lyle Drew turning mill with recently installed lineshafting showing how machinery was powered 85 years ago.
The day's festivities run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with food available at the train station from 11 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. and an ice cream social from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greater Wakefield Resource Center.
There will also be vintage cars on display and a book sale at the Hotchkiss Commons in the Grange from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
