MILTON MILLS - What a wonderful summer! We have so much appreciation for all our wonderful patrons, and for your participation in our summer programs. We were super excited to draw our adult local business raffle winners yesterday and congratulations to all the dedicated readers who won gift certificates! If you received a call, please come by at your earliest connivence to pick up your prize. We will re-draw winners for any prizes unclaimed at 30 days.
Our pumpkin decorating family event will be Saturday, September 14 from 10:30am to 12:30pm for a lovely fall pumpkin centerpiece. All ages welcome with adult supervision. There will be hot wax used. Bring your creativity!
We have a FREE Movie and Popcorn Night scheduled for Saturday, September 28 to start at 6pm. We will be showing the 2024 film IF, please arrive by 5:45pm to take your seat and acquire popcorn. Please bring a cushion or blanket to sit on, and drinks with lids. This is Round 2 of our movie night, as the first movie showing (Kung Fu Panda 4) was cancelled due to technical difficulties. Thank you for your patience!
Finally, if you stop by this month you may notice the dust (and construction) occurring. We have begun work on replacing and restoring part of the Milton Free Public Library roof, tower, and upstairs windows. We are grateful for our matching NH Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) Grant, awarded in 2022. We will remain open for our normal hours during the improvements.
