LEBANON - Former selectman candidate and planning board member Robie Marsters, who normally attends but has been absent from recent town meetings, is suffering from heart issues and is set to undergo a procedure at a Manchester N.H., hospital next month.
Marsters said he became aware of the problem recently while he was driving his truck on the Maine Turnpike south of Biddeford and began to feel sluggish.
He said when he found it hard to lift one of his arms he knew something was wrong, called a friend and had them drive him to nearby York Hospital.
Doctors ended up inserting a stent to open up one of his major arteries, but more work needs to be done, he said on Tuesday.
His procedure is scheduled for June 5.
