Folk, pop trio to give free downtown concert Friday

ROCHESTER - The North River Trio, featuring an Americana sound with strong harmonies and expressive musicianship, will play at a free concert in Central Square on Friday.

North River Trio plays covers of folk, pop and country songs. Their sets are fun to listen to with something familiar for everyone.

An eclectic style spanning the Eagles, Dylan and Dixie Chix to Darius Rucker will have eventgoers dancing and asking for more.

The concert goes from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Guests are urged to bring a lawn chair and buy or bring your lunch. Sponsored by Federal Savings Bank and a grant from the NH State Council On The Arts/National Endowment for the Arts.
