ROCHESTER - Rochester firefighters responded to a Cocheco Avenue fire in a duplex early this morning.
Rochester Fire got the call around 12:35 a.m. for a fire at 1 Cocheco Ave.
Upon arrival, smoke was seen coming from a second-floor apartment and personnel quickly knocked down flames in the kitchen, where the fire originated, according to Interim Chief Mark Dupuis.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire, but four adults were displaced from the home, he said.
Durham, Milton and Berwick fire departments all assisted on scene while firefighters from Farmington and Barrington provided station coverage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
