Filing period for municipal elections announced

ROCHESTER - The City of Rochester announced today that the filing period for November's municipal candidates begins on Sept. 8 ends on Sept. 25.

The election is scheduled for Nov. 7 and will include candidates for Mayor, City Council, school board, police commission and election officials.

All potential candidates are urged to review the eligibility requirements and responsibilities associated with the positions before submitting their applications.
