DOVER A Farmington man arrested in an armed robbery of the Milton Road Milton Road Hannaford pharmacy in April is facing three indictments handed down by a Strafford County grand jury that could land him in a New Hampshire State Prison for decades
Ryan Wilkinson, 41, of Polliwog Lane, Farmington, is now facing trial on charges of robbery with a weapon, robbery using a firearm and being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.
He faces up to 42 years behind bars if convicted on all three felonies.
Police say that Wilkinson entered the Hannaford store around 7 p.m. on April 8, went to the pharmacy, displayed a handgun and demanded prescription drugs. The pharmacist complied, and Wilkinson left the store.
The day after the robbery Rochester Police tracked Wilkinson down after getting a tip around 10 a.m. that a person matching the description of the robbery suspect was in the vicinity of the DOT shed off the Spaulding Turnpike Connector.
When police arrived at the DOT shed they located Wilkinson, who was taken into custody without incident.
The Strafford County indictments were handed down on June 20 and released on Monday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to warrant moving forward to trial.
