ROCHESTER - The Rochester Police Department announced on Friday that eight Rochester Police Cadets have graduated from the New Hampshire Police Cadet Training Academy.
The weeklong academy is for kids age 14-20 who have an interest in law enforcement.
While some kids spent their first week out of school relaxing, these eight cadets (along with 40 others) challenged themselves, overcame obstacles and worked together as a team.
These cadets did an amazing job representing the Rochester Police Cadet Post and should all be proud of their accomplishment, a post on the Rochester Police Facebook page noted.
Cadets meet twice a month throughout the school year starting in the fall and are encouraged to attend the NH Police Cadet Training Academy at the end of the school year to challenge themselves even further.
