Eastside man arrested for driving drunk after crash

EAST ROCHESTER - An elderly East Rochester man was arrested for driving drunk Friday night after he crashed his vehicle into a snowbank on Highland Street.

The accident occurred 11 p.m. near the Milton Road connector, police said in Friday's police log.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

James M. Gelinas, 69, of 435 Salmon Falls Road, was charged with a single count of driving under the influence.
