Eastie crash under investigation by city police

EAST ROCHESTER - Two cars collided this morning at the intersection of Highland Street and Salmon Falls Road in East Rochester.

According to Police, the accident occurred around 6:20 a.m. when a maroon 2013 Ford Focus, driven by Bruce Ricker of Milton, was driving south on Salmon Falls Road through the intersection and was struck by a 2009 Acura TSX driven by Anthony Macaione of Rochester.

Both vehicles suffered damage and had to be towed from the scene. Luckily, there were no injuries.

At this point the cause of the accident is still under investigation and Police are asking that any witnesses to the accident to please contact Officer Aaron Garneau.
