DPW reports water main break repairs currently under way

ROCHESTER - The Department of Public Works announced on Friday they had discovered a water main break on the 20" pipeline between Estes Road and Washington Street.

Repairs are currently under way. The water remains safe to drink but due to the volume of water lost, customers throughout the entire city, particularly along Washington, Brock, Gonic Road, Oak, Estes, Portland, Pickering, Railroad Ave, Old Dover, Juniper, and Lowell may experience cloudy and/or discolored water for the next 24 hours.
