Some things never change. In 1961, during my Army tour serving in Taiwan, I, like most American's slept: Congress ignored its constitutional limitations by passing the Foreign Assistance Act. This authorized the creation of the bureaucratic monster that Elon Musk and DOGE want to destroy - the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Winning this critical battle in the war against the predominance of bureaucratic rule over the American people is critical to preserving liberty. Just think how many bureaucrats have administered this give-away of your money for decades while the recipient bureaucracy of distribution created in foreign lands did the same.
If stealing for individuals is a criminal act punishable by imprisonment, then government agencies of theft who hide behind the mythical banner of being a servant is a much higher crime. This theft affects hard working folks from both parties, union and management - the people who produce products and services to provide for their families have been robbed by a nonproductive self-promoting army of bureaucrats paid to reduce your paycheck with taxes. To put it bluntly, Congress gave this agency a license to steal in 1961. Congress created this giant mechanism of theft. We need Congress to destroy this monster.
All readers who want this silent theft to stop should support Florida Rep. Greg Steube's bill H.R. 1029, now with 10 cosponsors, by urging their Washington delegation to support this movement to completely abolish the USAID. Read the law that needs taxpayer enforcement to stop this criminal activity. Article I, Section 8 of the constitution enumerates the purposes for which Congress may allocate funds -- providing taxpayer money to foreign nations or entities is not among them.
Globalist priorities subsidized by your paycheck have overridden constitutional law because apathy has ruled with silence. The police power of we the people to bring truth and justice is in your hands. The buck stops with you. Rattle your U.S. Representatives cage of attention by going to jbs.org and sign-up for "legislative alerts" for ammunition to win this war that government wages against you. Remember you're the boss!
