David C. Roberts ... Unisys field engineer

STRAFFORD - David C. Roberts, 73, of 44 Pig Lane, died Sunday, September 10, 2017, at his home after a period of failing health. He was born May 1, 1944 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of the late Clifford and Virginia (Oliva) Roberts.
Dave has resided in this area all of his life and was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1962. He served in the Navy and worked as a field engineer for Unisys, a computing company. Dave was very proud to be the original owner of a 1967 GTO and the home he built in Strafford. He also enjoyed antiquing, music and being a constant learner.
Members of his family include his wife of 11 years, Sharon (Balch) Roberts; son, David "Rob" Roberts II, Dover; three grandchildren, Alec, Mia, Lucia; stepchildren, David Drew, Shari and (Glen) Drew, all of Rochester; Jeff and (Kristin) Webb of Lebanon, Maine; nephew, Robert Rand; mother-in-law, Bertha Prado. He was predeceased by his sister, Jane Rand.
