Danville murder victim died of multiple gunshot wounds, autopsy finds

DANVILLE - An autopsy on a Danville woman killed on Thursday shows she died of multiple gunshot wounds, the Attorney Generals Office said on Saturday.

The autopsy completed on Denise Damato Coe, 59, slso showed the manner of death was homicide, meaning she was killed by another.

Police got involved when they responded on Thursday to 48 Back Road in Danville. Upon arrival, officers discovered Coe deceased inside her home.
