ROCHESTER - On Friday, October 7, 2022, Daniel Riciputi, loving husband and father, died at the age of 86 at home with family members by his side.

He was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Haverhill, Mass., the son of Emilio and Lena (Bizzocchi) Riciputi and has resided in this area most of his life.

Dan was married to his wife June in 1959 and together they raised three children. Dan had worked for the City of Portsmouth starting at the incinerator and working his way to a foreman position for the highway department.

Dan was an avid fisherman and hunter, and his most memorable years were spent with his family enjoying the outdoors. At many family gatherings you could find Dan recounting the families various hunting and fishing escapades over the years. Dan also enjoyed tying flies, playing golf, and following numerous sports teams. Whether it was golf, fishing, racquet ball or bowling Dan was always ready to be involved.

He was predeceased by his daughter Elaine O'Donnell, two brothers Hugo and Remo Riciputi, and his parents Emilio and Lena. He is survived by his wife of 63 years. June Riciputi (Treadwell) his daughter Roxanne (Riciputi) and spouse Richard Ricker of Berwick Maine, and his son Anthony D. Riciputi of Stewartstown, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dan is also survived by a great number of nephews, nieces, and cousins from across the country.
