CONCORD - Current COVID-19 hospitalizations statewide today are the lowest since the pandemic began, according to DHHS figures released on Wednesday.
Just 12 patients are hospitalized, for an overall cumulative total of 712 since March.
DHHS also announced 19 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a total of 7,036 cases overall.
Among the newly identified cases are one individual under 18; none are from Strafford County, where more good news surfaced today with Dover joining Rochester, Strafford, Somersworth and Barrington with numbers under five. Milton and Farmington continue to have no cases.
Meanwhile, the overall recovery rate of COVID-19 rose another percentage point to 90 percent recently, a new high.
DHHS also announced three additional deaths, all 60 or over.
