Current hospitalizations plummet to lowest level since data point added in April

CONCORD - Current COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state are at their lowest count since April 13 when daily numbers began being released by state DHHS officials.

As of Sunday there were just 17 New Hampshire residents hospitalized in health facilities around the state compared with 72 on April 13 and highs pandemic highs in the 120s.

Meanwhile, 18 new positive test results for COVID-19 were identified on Saturday, including two under the age of 18. No new cases were confirmed in Strafford County.

One new hospitalized case was identified for a total of 673 (11%) of 6,203 cases.

Officials also announced two additional deaths related to COVID-19, a woman from Hillsborough County and a man from Belknap County, both 60 or older.
