ROCHESTER - The Creteau Regional Technology Center will be inviting local business leaders to its Spring Open House later this month.
The informal get-together takes place o March 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Business leaders throughout the region will tour the building ahead of significant renovations that begin next year.
Starting in April 2019, the $16.8 million renovation will modernize the entire facility and introduce state of the art equipment to meet 21st century needs.
The open house will feature a meet-and-greet session, as well as the opportunity to review the renovation timelines and design, discuss the school's extended learning opportunity initiatives and tour the facility. Creteau Tech students and faculty will be in attendance to answer any questions attendees might have.
By partnering with the business community and other strategic partners, Creteau Tech is investing in its students by providing them with the latest technology and the critical skills they'll need in order to become successful employees and future leaders.
"I'm looking forward to welcoming community leaders to Creteau Tech so they can see the amazing work our students and faculty are doing," Career and Technology Education Director Michele Halligan-Foley said. "It will also give them a chance to understand just how significant of an impact these renovations will have on our students and the ultimate benefit that will have on local businesses."
Upon completion, business leaders will be invited back to Creteau Tech to see the renovations first-hand.
