ROCHESTER - Cornerstone VNA, a local nonprofit home health provider, recently announce the revitalization of its popular community Educational Series.
These educational presentations are free and open to community members and local businesses and cover a variety of health and wellness-related topics. Presentations can also be customized to meet specific needs or areas of interest. The educational presentations have been newly organized into five categories including, Holistic Health from the Inside Out, Family Caregiver Superheroes, Safe and Sound at Home: Rehab Solutions and Health Tips, Mental and Social Wellness, and Shine the Light on Hospice. Presentations typically run 60 minutes and include a question-and-answer portion.
Jennifer Ufkin, RN MSN, Vice President of Operations, said many can benefit from these presentations.
"Through our Educational Series, we aim to help community members make informed decisions about their health and well-being, especially in tough situations," she said.
