Concord man accused of fatally shooting his half brother

CONCORD - A Concord man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his half-brother who died in Concord on Jan. 16.

Jesse James Sullivan, 31, of Concord, is accused of shooting Zackary Sullivan, 19, around 7:10 p.m. in the area of 208 Garvins Falls Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Zachary Sullivan suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck.

Jesse Sullivan is charged with one count of Second-Degree Murder for allegedly shooting the victim and an alternative count for recklessly causing the death by shooting him.

He is also charged with Falsifying Physical Evidence for discarding the handgun that was used in the incident.
