Clem Merchant died peacefully surrounded by family after a period of declining health.

He worked at Davidson Rubber as a maintenance supervisor in Dover and later retired later from the State Highway Dept.

His Yankee ingenuity allowed him to follow his passion for rebuilding antique and stock cars. He raised horses for fair competition, raced all track in NH and Maine. He worked and played hard never lacking for toys such as snowmobiles, motorcycles, trucks and later the many Classic vehicles he and wife Donna and Katie would display at car shows.

He loved family outings and cookouts. He was predeceased by his cowife Patricia Merchant, brother George and Frank, and son Rusty. He leaves behind His wife Donna of 23 years, daughters Roberta and Vickie, sons, Raymond, Eugene and Clem Jr, special Grandchildren Dusty and Micheal who was by his side at all times. His close friends John and Sally. Ralph Roberts, Alan Laskey, and Katie loyal dog for 14 years. He leaves many nieces and nephews, great and grandchildren.
