DOVER, N.H. - A city man has been indicted on seven counts of assault, including three felony counts against a female victim and four misdemeanor counts against a separate female who was a domestic partner.
Jacob Beaulieu, 24, of 287 Rochester Hill Road 102, is facing up to 21 years in prison on the Class B felonies and four years in county jail on the Class A misdemeanors.
He is alleged to have strangled, threatened with a knife and threatened to kill the first victim, then punched, slapped, grabbed and pushed a domestic partner.
All the incidents occurred in Rochester on March 29.
The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down June 18 and released on Tuesday. An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
