ROCHESTER - Christopher Perry, 50, died Dec. 10, 2022, in his home after a four-year battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Melanie (Harris) Perry and their daughters, Emma, and Maya Perry.

Born February 26, 1972, in Salisbury, Md., to Wayne Perry and Donna ( Killman) Perry both of Rochester.

Chris grew up in Berwick, Maine, but lived most of his adult life in Rochester. He was a 1990 Graduate of Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine. He went on to earn his associate degree from the University of Southern Maine and his bachelor's degree from Western Governors University. Prior to his illness, Chris worked at Walmart for 18 years in both the Epping and Rochester locations. He was an active member of BeFree Community Church in Barrington, and had a passion for mission's work, particularly in Rwanda where he had the opportunity to travel and serve on two different occasions. He enjoyed travel, in addition to Rwanda, he spent time on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, enjoyed two trips to Disney with his family and a weekend every December in Mystic, Conn., with his wife. Chris enjoyed music, collecting vinyl records, concerts, hockey, particularly the Boston Bruins, movies, books, good coffee, good food and the company of dear friends. Most of all, Chris took great joy in spending time with his daughters, who meant the world to him.

Members of his family include his wife of 17 years Melanie (Harris) Perry of Rochester, daughters; Emma and Maya Perry both of Rochester; Mother Donna Perry of Rochester; father, Wayne Perry and wife, Karen of Rochester; maternal grandmother Dolores Killman of Berwick, Aunt Cheryl Powell and her husband Chris of White Plains, N.Y., aunt Terri Killman-Collins of Rochester and Uncle Joseph Killman and wife Terrie of Berwick, as well as several cousins.
