Chamber gearing up for annual awards banquet at Red Barn

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce will present its "Shoot for the Stars" Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet on Friday, April 12from 6-9 p.m.

This elegant evening celebrating business success, comes complete with dinner, awards and entertainment, taking place at The Red Barn in South Berwick, Maine. Corporate sponsors to date for the banquet are Access Sports Medicine, Daystar, Inc., Laars Heating Systems Company, Profile Bank and Waste Management.

Major event underwriters are Eversource and Service Credit Union.

The banquet begins with a Social Hour at 6 p.m., sponsored by Eastern Propane & Oil.

During this time, complimentary photos will be offered to guests, courtesy of Tanya Lee Hervey Photography. Registration of guests is being sponsored by Urban Tree Service. Event programs will be distributed to guests attending, sponsored by Polychronis Financial Services. A brief program that includes the presentations of the 2019 Business of the Year, 2019 Non-Profit of the Year and 2019 Citizen of the Year awards, sponsored by Index Packaging, Inc. and Atlantic Broadband will take place following the social hour.

A wonderful dinner, with a choice of prime rib au jus, chicken Francaise or roasted butternut squash ravioli, will be prepared by The Red Barn. Decadent desserts prepared by Potter's House Bakery and Cafe are co-sponsored by HBL Group, LLC and Monarch School of New England and Rochester Truck. Attendees will be treated to musical entertainment throughout the evening, provided by the Nate Therrien Trio, and co-sponsored by Holy Rosary Credit Union, Hervey's Tire Co. and Norman Vetter, Inc.

Making the event festive, decorations are being sponsored by Bank of New Hampshire and centerpieces provided on each of the tables are sponsored by Lydall Performance Materials.

Federal Savings Bank will sponsor a grand prize raffle, where one lucky winner will take home $1,500 cash. Tickets are on sale now for $2 each or a book of 6 for $10. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets for this raffle can be purchased at the Chamber office or online at www.rochesternh.org.

The Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet is open to Chamber members and their guests. The cost to attend is $65.00 per person. Tickets are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
