ROCHESTER - Carolyn A. (Wilson) Scott, 75, died on August 5, 2023, at her home after a period of failing health.

Carolyn was born on May 25, 1948, in Rochester, to parents, Robert P. & Charlotte (Palmer) Wilson.

After graduating from Spaulding High School in Rochester in 1966, she went onto her working career working at Rich's Dept. Store, Bank East, Curtis 1000 and J.C. Penney Stores in the cash office.

Growing up in East Rochester and Rochester, she lived on a farm in Chester, for 21 years while married to her second husband, Leroy G. Scott. After his passing in 2016, she moved back to Rochester.

She will be remembered for how she loved roller-skating at the Humoresque and Sunset roller-skating rinks. She was a caregiver and loved to bake for people to make them happy and was on the meals ministry at her church for many years. She loved crocheting and made many blankets for people. She loved the family get togethers and making her potato salad.

For many years, she gave blood to the American Red Cross and loved to shop for Operation Christmas Child with her grandchildren. She loved her "Grammie Days" and going to North Conway with them on vacation. She also loved being with her sister, Mary, and going for rides and out to eat with her. She was known for being a very organized person, she was always on time and dependable (the Golden girls used to tease her about always being on time). She loved to play bingo, go for rides and out to eat (loved her lobster rolls and black olives). Her most important thing in life was her children and grandchildren and her sister. She was a very kind and loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

As God was first in her life, being a born again Christian, her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved the music, lights, decorations, and riding around, looking at Christmas lights with her children. She loved the big colored lights on Christmas trees. Her strong faith in God is what got her through some hard times and health issues, and she was always so very thankful for having God in her life. She had suffered her whole life with fibromyalgia.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Kenneth C. Wagner, II of Milton, NH and daughter, Jennifer C (Wagner) Hudson (Leonard) of Alton, NH, two grandchildren, Natalie C. Hudson and Logan T. Hudson of Alton, NH, three step-great grandchildren, Tiffany McManus, Colin Wagner, Chesney McManus, her sister, Mary W. Dean (John) of Rochester, a brother, Robert P.
