DOVER - Carol B. McCoole, 82, died on Monday, July 1, 2024, at her beloved summer home in York Beach, Maine. Born on Dec. 19, 1941, in Berwick Maine, Carol was the daughter of Victor and Margaret (Seavey) Seymour.

Carol grew up in Dover graduating from Dover High School in 1959.

Carol worked for Dr. John Story after high school, and later took over as the bookkeeper and office manager for the family business, McCoole Plumbing and Heating. Carol also operated her own business making beautiful bridal veils and head pieces for many years. Carol volunteered at the Dover Children's home for several years as well.

Surviving are son, Shawn McCoole and wife, Kathy, of Dover; daughter, Karen Anulewicz and husband, Ed, of Bristol, Conn.; grandchildren, Allison and Andrew Anulewicz and Alie and Abby Murray; brother in-law James McCoole and wife, Therese, of Hampton, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carol was predeceased by her husband David in 2023 and her brother Bruce Seymour in 2020.
