EAST LEBANON - The state Fire Marshal's Office has ruled a fire that destroyed a camper, storage shed and two vehicles earlier this month as arson.
St. Joel Davis said today that investigators came to the conclusion there was no way the fire could have started but for human involvement.
He said the Fire Marshal's Office was actively investigating the case, but was unable to comment on potential leads or the status of the investigation.
Lebanon Fire and EMS responded around 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 15 to the fire at Lucky Day Auto on Creamery Hill Road.
When crews arrived they found a fully involved fire that started in a camper trailer and spread to a large storage trailer adjacent to it.
The fire also consumed a car and SUV parked next to the trailer.
No one was living in the camper, officials said.
