LEBANON - Lebanon 250th Anniversary celebration may not begin for several weeks, but organizers are gearing up for two events this month that will involve the July 1-4 bash.
First on June 10 and June 17 there will be two bonnet decorating workshops for those entering the bonnet contest. Both workshops will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Martha Sawyer Library.
Bring your hat and any special decorations you would like to include in your creation. Some decorations will be provided.

The bonnet contest will be held July 1.
Then on June 25 the Miss Lebanon Contest will be held with Lebanon girls ages 5-19 invited to take part.
The contest will comprise three divisions for girls ages 5 - 19:
Little Miss Lebanon ages 5 - 9
Jr. Miss Lebanon ages 10 - 14
Miss Lebanon ages 15 - 19
All girls must be residents of Lebanon and will be judged on stage presence, talent and private interviews. Each division will need at least three competitors in order to hold the contest.
