EAST ROCHESTER - The person who suffered an untimely death over the weekend has been identified as a 20-year-old female.
Police discovered the woman's body after getting a 911 call around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday summoning them to a house at 8 Highland St. located next door to the East Rochester Cumberland Farms. The house is a single family dwelling rental unit.
Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today that an autopsy will be performed on the body in an effort to determine cause of death.
Pinkham said the investigation is active and ongoing, adding that the death is not being probed as a possible drug overdose.
The Attorney General's Office was notified immediately, however they have not released a statement as of today.
