ROCHESTER - During an unannounced, unpublicized brief visit to the Lilac City on Wednesday, Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden called for President Trump's impeachment following a long list of other candidates for the Democrat nomination who had earlier called for his removal from office.

A fired-up Biden made the remarks to a small gathering at the Governor's Inn.

The speech comes in the wake of a myriad of miscues from the former vice president, including equating black kids with poor kids, not knowing which state he's in and becomingly seeming more unhinged as he threatens to beat the president "like a drum" in a potential matchup next year.

Also recently circulating on various digital platforms is his rambling, often incoherent 2017 anecdote during the naming of a Wilmington, Del., pool, in which he describes his confrontation with "Corn Pop," a "bad dude" as he put it, who had jumped on the diving board when Biden was a lifeguard at a predominately African-American used pool back in the 1960s.

"In full view of the world and the American people, Donald Trump has violated his oath of office, betrayed this nation and committed impeachable acts," Biden claimed on Wednesday in front of a small crowd of mostly invited guests.

President Trump reacted to the tweet shortly after Biden's comments, calling them pathetic while adding, "He (Trump) had done nothing wrong."

Biden, seen early on as the odds-on favorite to face the president in the general election next year, is now mired in a three way race with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who is seen in some polls as in a dead heat with the former vice president.
