Benjamin Mark "Big Ben" Thomas, 34, died peacefully on Feb. 5, 2025, in Boston.
Born on Feb. 4, 1991, in Portsmouth, he was a proud graduate of Winnacunnet High School's Class of 2009.
Benjamin had an infectious joy that radiated to those around him. He was known for always having a smile on his face and a laugh that could brighten any room. His love for joking around with family and friends made every gathering more memorable. Whether offering a warm hug or sharing a lighthearted moment, he always had a way of making people feel at ease.
A passionate sports fan, Benjamin followed the Boston Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots with unwavering enthusiasm. He also had a deep appreciation for NASCAR. Beyond cheering for his favorite teams, he found joy in gaming--spending countless hours playing on PC and Xbox with his friends, little brother, and coworkers.
Benjamin is survived by his loving family: his grandmother Kennie Bedford; his mother Caroline Langelier and her husband Michael of Rochester; his father Mark Thomas and his wife Cathy of Hampstead; and his younger brother Jason Langelier of Farmington. He is also remembered by his uncle's Hank, Bill, and Jeff Bedford; numerous cousins; and other cherished family members Jeannette and Kevin Langelier of Rochester. He was predeceased by his grandfather Ted Bedford.
Benjamin's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter and kindness will never be forgotten.
