Beef stew dinner, pancake breakfast are tasty features of upcoming holiday fairs

ROCHESTER - Four fund-raising events will highlight next weekend's holiday fair shopping opportunities.

The festivities begin Friday with the start of First Church Congregational's Winter Faire featuring a beef stew supper from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday the church will host a blueberry pancake breakfast from 8 a.m.-noon. The church is located at 63 South Main St.

Also on Saturday the Granite State Choral Society's Shop 'Til You Drop Craft Fair will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Community Center on Wakefield Street, while Holy Rosary's Christmas Fair at 189 North Main St. starts at 9 a.m. and ends with a Roast Pork Dinner.

Meanwhile, the Rochester Elk's Emblem Club's Holiday Bazaar is being held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Elk's Lodge, 295 Columbus Ave.
