BARRINGTON - The Barrington Middle School's Field Hockey Team is doing its best to "Stick it" to cancer this year with a fund-raiser that raised $334 for the Seacoast Cancer Center.
The donation was made in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month. They money was raised through a bake sale during lunch at the Barring Middle School.

The benefit was part of an effort to raise funds for the annual October Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This is the second year in a row that they have done this and recognize the significance of the SCC in our community.
The team comprises 16 girls ranging from fifth- through eighth-grade.
The coaches, Maegan Ashe and Allie Hebert presented the funds to Melissa Ashe, senior administrative assistant in the SCC and Michael Meserve, director of the SCC Survivorship and Wellness Program.
