To the editor:
With City Manager Katie Ambrose, "perched" beside Rochester's Attorney O'Rourke, parroting the same blather, that, Harrison Thorp, editor of The Rochester Voice, should not be considered "worthy" of acknowledgement.
Blame the City Council "Scoundrels" who were fully aware of the agenda this person would operate under, felt compelled to bring her on board...The Council Embers..... sorry... Members must be glowing.
"There YE go MATEY!"
Does All "Appointed" city management, reside within the city limits? They should have to! If they did, we might see them around town, enjoying the sights and sounds of the city.
Foster's is owned outright by a Conglomerate out of Ohio. It owns Seacoast Media. Note: No other paper in the State of New Hampshire is owned by this group, that I can tell.
Therefore, so much for locally sanctioned media representation.
Undoubtedly, we, the City Serfs, will foot the "Bounty" to defend their total Disdain for Mr. Thorp.
This is commonly known as a Vendetta....
You know, he could have asked a Rochester Taxpayer to SUBMIT a 91-A, in his place. But NO! It's the PRINCIPLE of the Thing... Understand? NO they don't, because a Principle is a "Fundamental Truth" for a system of belief or behavior, or for a chain of reasoning. (Oxford Languages)
If ANY Project Funds came from or used, Federal Grants, I believe anyone within the confines of the 50 States should be able to ask, who, what, when, where and HOW, this money is, will, or has, been used, "aka: wasted!" Likely, the latter.
Especially when the City gets in Cahoots with Non-Profits for projects, questioning anything is above board. I call these alleged mergers, "Pity Leveraging." By attempting to get sympathy for a cause they aspire to bring forth, through public Empathy. The right to ask questions and formally request a reply is called transparency. None of which applies in Rochester.
Here's an example of Transparency: "The Cirque Du JERK," at Washington and Main Street. Here's a 10 year year No Go, $12 MILLION Dollar, Big Dig, land fill, dig it up, and then, REFILL it AGAIN! (Many times over!) project. The only thing sealed were the bidding and lips.
To the Leaders(?) of Rochester: "Thou PUKETH onto the Wrong Non-Tax Exempt, Taxpayer."
Just come out and say it, "We don't care if you're Citizen Joe, or a Rochester State Representative....
No Blackbeard Pirate Soup for You!
