DOVER - A Rochester woman who failed to show up for her plea and sentencing hearing Tuesday on a habitual offender charge is now being sought by police.
The Strafford Superior court ordered that bail be required when Samantha L. Nailor, 37, of Washington Street, is taken into custody.
Nailor was arrested in Rochester on March 9, 2022, on a habitual offender charge, a Class B felony that can carry up to a seven-year sentence in state prison.
Being classified as a habitual offender occurs when a driver racks up a specific number of points due to multiple and reoccurring motor vehicle infractions, which can range from speeding to reckless operation to conduct after an accident or DWIs along with a host of other possible offenses.
