Armand R. Vachon ... longtime shoeworker

TUCSON, Ariz. - Armand R. Vachon, 71, died Thursday, August 1, 2018, in Tucson, Ariz. He was born August 31, 1946, in Rochester, N.H., the son of late Yvonne L. (Sansfacon) and Roland C. Vachon.
He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas high school in 1964. Armand worked at Robert Shoe Company in Somersworth, N.H., for many years as a Shoe Laster. He moved to Arizona in 1982, where he worked as a maintenance man.
Members of his family are his children, Jerome Libby, Michelle M. Vachon, Therese F. Healey and Rhonda Brooks; his brother, Gerard L. Vachon and his wife Barbara; his sister, Therese Sleeper and her husband Charles and his Aunt Madeleine Boire. Other family members include several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, Armand was predeceased by his brother, Ronald L. Vachon, son, Marc R. Vachon and grandson, Alex J. Bean.
