ROCHESTER - Annie I (Hawkins) Lingard, 84, died Jan. 10, 2023, at the Rochester Manor after a long illness.

Born Oct. 8, 1938, in Rochester to William and Olive (Smith) Hawkins.

Annie grew up in Strafford, where she also graduated from Austin Cate Academy, moving to Rochester in 1962 after getting married to her late husband Warren Lingard. Annie loved her family very much, always caring for her children and her late husband. She was a member of the Crown Point Grange of Strafford for the past 65 years. In her own time, she enjoyed crafting, sewing, baking, knitting, and crocheting, she loved to work in her flower garden.

Members of her family include her son Brian Lingard and his wife Lori of Shrewsbury Mass., her daughter-in-law, Julieann Lingard of Rochester, her grandchildren; Alexander Lingard and his wife Allison of Rochester, Spencer Lingard of N. Grafton Mass., Wyatt Lingard of Shrewsbury, Ashlee Lykansion and her husband Danny of Hooksett and a great grandchild, Elowen Lykansion.

She is predeceased by her husband, Warren Lingard and her son, Robert Lingard.
