Absentee ballots for Sept. 10 primary now available

ROCHESTER - Absentee ballots for the State General Primary Election scheduled for Sept. 10 are now available. Those requesting an absentee ballot can contact the City Clerk's office at (603) 332-2130 or by visiting the city's official website at www.rochesternh.gov.

In preparation for the upcoming election, the Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a session at the Rochester City Clerk's Office, located at 31 Wakefield St. to accommodate voter registration. This session is scheduled for Sept. 4, from 7-7:30 p.m.

Applicants registering to vote are encouraged to bring proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile. Qualified applicants who do not possess or bring these documents may still register by signing an affidavit attesting to their qualifications.
